The 3M™ Acrylic Foam Tape 4229P is a high-performance, double-sided tape designed for automotive and industrial applications. Featuring a dark gray, closed-cell acrylic foam core with a thickness of 0.76 mm, this tape provides excellent stress relaxation under load. It utilizes two distinct adhesives on each side: the liner-side adhesive is formulated for bonding to rigid clear coat systems, while the non-liner side is designed for use with adhesion promoters on automotive trim materials. The tape exhibits good conformability and excellent plasticizer resistance, making it ideal for various demanding applications.
